Pareto Total was also nominated in the category Fund of the year, where nominations were not announced ahead of the ceremony. In addition, Pareto Total was nominated in the category Long Term Performance (5 years) – Equity Strategies.
The EuroHedge Awards are being arranged by the company With Intelligence, which describes them as “the most important and influential hedge fund awards in the calendar, with the best performing funds all vying for industry-wide recognition and celebration.”
Nominees and winners are selected objectively, using a combination of Sharpe ratios and absolute returns. This quantitative approach ensures the awards reflect the two primary aims of hedge funds, states With Intelligence, “to manage volatility, and to deliver positive returns for investors.”
Pareto Total is managed by Bård Johannessen and Oddmund Nicolaisen Enæs, who have been with the fund since its inception in 2014. Pareto Asset Management’s Head of Sales Eirik Vetvik, was present at the ceremony alongside Mr. Enæs.
