Pareto Asset Management is one of the leading independent fund managers in the Nordics, and part of the Pareto group with headquarters in Oslo and branches in Stockholm and Frankfurt. Pareto Asset Management including subsidiaries has more than NOK 75 billion assets under management.

The German branch office was started in 2018, and is now a well established boutique with major German institutions invested in Pareto's fund strategies. The branch is now expanding its client-relationship team and looking for two junior sales to the office in Frankfurt.


  • Increase Pareto AM's presence and client base in Germany, Austria and Denmark, and raise Assets under Management (AuM) across Pareto's fund range
  • Add new prospect groups and investors/clients (wholesale/institutional)
  • Contribute to Pareto AM's offering by identifying client trends and needs
  • Expand the branch's network of clients, prospects and visibility

Job Profile:

  • Conduct sales activities and initiate new client relationships
  • Update clients and prospects on developments in the fund's strategies
  • Support with assembling data / marketing material / updating economic and fund information
  • Support all local sales activities (events, publications, etc.)
  • Work on RfPs (requests for proposals) and databases' updates

What type of candidates we are looking for:

  • Energetic and sales-driven personalities with relevant fund industry experience: either within a current junior sales role, or as a step from a marketing/support function to professional sales
  • Entrepreneurial open-mindedness
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients in their local market places
  • Languages: German (native), English fluent; any Nordic language skills a definite plus
  • Preferably some connection to the Nordics/Nordic languages, or affiliation with the region
