Who we are
Pareto Asset Management is a leading Nordic independent fund manager, with headquarters in Oslo, Norway. We are an active fund manager, striving to deliver solid returns to our investors through active and responsible investment decisions.

Pareto Asset Management is a dedicated and responsible asset manager. Our fundamental investment philosophy, knowledge and long-term perspective have created good risk-adjusted returns for our investors since 1995.
The company is one of the Nordic' leading independent asset management companies and manages assets of some 110 billion NOK. We invest in Norwegian, Nordic and global quality companies and offer equity funds, fixed income funds, special funds and discretionary mandates.
Pareto Asset Management is a boutique asset manager, with a narrow and focused management. Our investors include municipalities, foundations, pension funds, investment firms and private investors. Employees as well as owners of the Pareto group are heavily invested in our funds, and together, companies and employees constitute our largest customer.
Pareto Asset Management is part of the Pareto Group, which includes Pareto Securities and Pareto Bank, among others.
The Nordic way
Dedicated, patient and responsible.
- Our customer relationships are long-term partnerships, and we have close relationships with our customers.
We offer individual management solutions and personal follow-up. - With us, you will experience that the management of your capital is understandable and predictable.
We will never sacrifice our reputation for short-term gain. We will never take excessive risk. - We do not spend our time inventing new and creative financial products. This gives us all the more time to analyse and understand how value creation occurs. Over time, this has created valuable results for our customers. We have a fundamental approach and analyse the entire company before we invest. This includes the company's historical returns as well as structure.
- There is a good reason why you should emphasise this: Pareto Asset Management's largest "customer" is the employees, partners and owners of the Pareto group. We therefore not only benefit if we do well, we also suffer if we do poorly.
- As part of our efforts to promote responsible investments, Pareto Asset Management has signed the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). We seek to invest in companies with quality operations and management, and which have a strong focus on attitudes and actions related to ethical issues.
