  1.  Slave to flows
I bet you never really worried about the comovement of stocks (provided you ever gave it a thought). With steadily increasing assets under passive management, maybe you should.

  2. Banking on bond market growth
Connect the dots: 1) Record-high global corporate bond issuance. 2) A very competitive price of risk, compared to bank loans.

  3. A strong year for our Nordic high yield fund
December 2019 ended a very strong year for Pareto Nordic Corporate Bond, with positive returns for 12 consecutive months.

  4. Swedish green bonds: Lessons from Covid-19
How did green bonds act as a stabiliser in bond portfolios in times of liquidity crisis?

  5. 25 years of discretionary mandates and 1629 per cent
For a quarter of a century, Pareto Asset Management has built values as a long-term and value-oriented owner in solid Norwegian companies. This has paid off.

  6. Integrating ESG in the fund name
On 16 November 2020 we received approval for renaming our Swan-labelled fixed income fund.

  7. PRI Assessment report 2020
Pareto Asset Management is proud to have been awarded A+ by the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) for our overall Strategy and Governance.

  8. What a difference a year makes (and a note on psychiatry)
Remember our fund update one year ago? A decidedly variable 2018 ended with a lousy month, puncturing annual returns in a number of funds.

  9. Temporarily deceived?
Somehow, there's a certain topical relevance to the notion of fake news – and financial markets are no exception.

  10. Celebrating one (demanding) year
Pareto Nordic Cross Credit celebrated its one-year anniversary this November. During extreme adverse and challenging market conditions the fund's AUM has slowly but steadily increased throughout the year and the portfolio managers have delivered positive returns, not only for the fund's first full year, but also year to date.

“You can’t improve what you don’t measure.”

In our line of business, we have been busy adapting to new sustainability legislation, such as the EU Taxonomy and the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). You may have seen a line or two about that in these responsible investment reports.

Henceforth, however, the burden of reporting will fall on our portfolio companies. There is a wealth of new legislation soon to enter into force, requiring substantially more reporting efforts. Learn more in our latest report on responsible investing, no. 2-2023.
