The measures were introduced with immediate effect from Thursday 12 March, and will apply until the authorities come up with new guidelines. We emphasise that our daily operations, with management, valuation and settlement, continue as before.

Availability

Our employees are mostly working from home, with a few exceptions for some of our employees in operations, who alternate working from our head office in Oslo. Each of our employees has identified a backup person, who is staying in a separate location during this period.

Our customers will have to expect that physical meetings will be canceled or moved, but beyond that we are all available by phone and email, as usual.

Stock market turmoil

It is clear that the virus has created turmoil in financial markets, and our portfolio managers now focus intently on the markets and are in close dialogue with our portfolio companies. Our general advice to all our customers is to keep calm and think long term. All experience indicates that the markets will recover, and we believe our portfolio companies are equipped to withstand the storm.

In order to prevent infection, we have cancelled all scheduled customer meetings and seminars, and going forward we will limit our customer contact to telephone and e-mail. But do not hesitate to contact your account manager if you would like more information or have a chat.
